Gaza Attacks

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Get your head outta your ass, when a population votes a terrorist group into power they tend to become isolated.

Even their good buddy Egypt is part of that.

Or did you not realize their is a Gaza/Egypt border?

Now pull your head all the way out and realize no one has ever starved to death in Gaza.

Gaza is the biggest welfare state in the world and they like it that way!

As long as they keep the daily bombing of Israel happening, it's an all-you-can-eat buffet. :drink:

Quit enabling them, they make their choices, they get what they get.

More on this Monday, party weekend for Strangelove.....

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how the Gaza/Egypt border (d)evolves going forward.

That was the old CC, this is the new CC

I read your posts, as my alter-ego (I didn't post much because 1. you would have figured out it was me and ;) and 2. I didn't want to give the pig fucker any publicity (ad-clicking) like I had before with me controversial but intelligent postings during the last lock-out...

Niether side is going to 'win' this so why all the rhetoric? Wip out you fucking dicks and compare sizes, that's all this amounts to. If you really wanna analye this then go back around 2000 years ago when the patriarchal Middle Eastern monotheistic religions started destroying matriarchal religious symbols of harmonious female goddesses and chose male gods of war. Fuck, even Bob Marley got that right, you'd think you West Coast Rastas would at least have a clue in your drugged out euphoric states instead of believing in bullshit red wine mainstream crap....come'on man, use your common sense Stumpy!
Now remember, my first major, before architecture, was archeology so tread carefully docster :P

Yes. Because Palestinians have only been isolated since 2006.

Now pull your head all the way out and realize no one has ever starved to death in Gaza.
Half the population can't afford "sufficient food", according to the UN.
As long as they keep the daily bombing of Israel happening, it's an all-you-can-eat buffet. :drink:
Israel’s Shortsighted Assassination
On the morning that he was killed, Mr. Jabari received a draft proposal for an extended cease-fire with Israel, including mechanisms that would verify intentions and ensure compliance.

In the draft, which I understand Mr. Jabari saw hours before he was killed, it was proposed that Israeli intelligence information transmitted through the Egyptians would be delivered to Mr. Jabari so that he could take action aimed at preventing an attack against Israel. Mr. Jabari and his forces would have had an opportunity to prove that they were serious when they told Egyptian intelligence officials that they were not interested in escalation. If Mr. Jabari had agreed to the draft, then we could have prevented this new round of violence; if he had refused, then Israel would have likely attacked in much the same way as it is now.
Must be an election looming...

LOL, I was having beers in Port Maria when a couple of Rastas came into the bar and struck up a conversation figuring I was a tourist mark they could sponge a greenback from. I told them I could not understand how anyone could whoreship Haile Selassie as the man was a butcher.

One of the Rastas looked at me through his clouded eyes and said, "you know man, Rasta, vegetarian".

The Economist is pursuing a different tact on this. The Palestinian Authority has applied for official observer status at the UN and some of the hardline coalition members within the Israeli government have threatened to cut off funding to the PA if the do not with draw the application. Hamas is also starting to rebuild in the PA controlled Westbank and is nearing the start of another infitada.

If Egypt can get Hamas to toe the line and the PA withdraws their UN observer application a truce is possible.

One of the first acts of the Arab Spring in Egypt was the opening of the Suez to Iran's navy. Watch for increased US naval activity towards Iranian ports in Arabian Sea. The Americans have already turned around their fleet in the western Mediterranean that was homeward bound.

And Cornuck, if politics could be as civil as a couple of four year olds in a sandbox, we wouldn't be here.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Okay I'll bite,

I know that Isaac and Ishmael had the same daddy but different Momma's. Isaac' mom, Sarah wanted Ishmael dead and he escaped into the desert and started 6000 years of hatred.

I know that when Mohammed kicked off this mortal coil he left a relative and a spiritual follower to argue over who was to succeed him and it kicked off 1500 years of conflict.

But aside from owning the worlds ass for 600 years and having to put up with arabs and jews going mental, what's Britain got to do with it.

Rastas worship Punani, not eat'n it though 8-)

Your rhetoric is straight out of the liberal gas rags you eat up. The only way out of this is statehood. Any blockage is purely political power play.

I sincerely hope Iran & Israel nuke the fuck each other out of existence. The world would be a better place.
