I was shocked to read this. He brought the Blues back and turned them into a contender again with some great talent. Appears the new ownership wants to cut costs and his salary had to go which doesn't make sense since they have to buy him out.

I always enjoyed listening to JD. Thoughtful certainly not bombastic, a love for the game and intelligent. If he joins Columbus you can see success following not long after.
