Re: Prospects Thread 2012-13
Jensen scored 2 goals today in AIK's loss to HV71
HV71 5 AIK 3
Jensen 2 goals, +1
Check out the highlights
2 great wrist shots for #46: 1:48 and 2:22 --- those goals made him look like a real NHL sniper! Plus, I think that was also Jensen hitting the post with another wicked wrist shot at 0:50... could've had a hat trick. Must. Keep. Hopes. Tempered.

Holy Snappers, but those were two wired-for-home shots by Jensen! Those almost looked Nazzy like in the way he had that sweeping motion but the puck just launched off his stick.Southern_Canuck wrote:Jensen scored 2 goals today in AIK's loss to HV71

Re: Prospects Thread 2012-13
Yeah a big group. Arneil made mention of that in a recent interview. He also said he needs to look at players that may well be promoted back to Chicago if the lockout is resolved and AHL players are called up to the big club. Likely Schroeders best chnace, a settlement in Nov means he come up for his shot in the NHL playing already at full speed. The players I'd like to keep a watch on are Cannata, Polasek ( I think he's passed Sauve by ) Anderson ( at last we see what he can do over here ) and Archibald/Anthony ( i have to believ this is there now or never season ) Kassian (like Schroeder ) and maybe Connautons +/- ... see if he's really learned to play defense
cheers
Re: Prospects Thread 2012-13
I don't think he'll have problems playing defense at the AHL level. Frankly, I think he's at the point where the question is not whether he can excel in the pros. He's already an all-star in the 'A'. It's whether he can take his game and adapt to the NHL level. Will he make it to the bigs, or will he be the equivalent of a Nolan Baumgartner?Fred wrote:and maybe Connautons +/- ... see if he's really learned to play defense
