The ongoing trial against the female punk rock group Pussy Riot would be hilarious if it wasn't so chillingly scary.

OK, so a punk group basically ran into a church and gave an impromptu performance singing about Putin, corruption and the Russian Orthodox church while a guy was filming it all. They are now charged with "hooliganism" and may end up serving multiple years in prison. WTF?

Just like in the good ole Soviet days, eh? Speak up, voice some dissent and next thing you know, they're coming to take you away, ha ha!
