PK Subban seems to be getting the contract lowball. Could be an offer sheet or trade target.
His yap & tude (on the ice & in the dressing room) may be hurting him.

I'd like to see where this kid is at 2 years down the road. If he can turn out to be a Burrows/Lapierre clone ready for 3rd line duty, I would be quite pleased. He may turn out to be a Maxime Talbot type which, again, would put a smile on my face.Strangelove wrote:Yup!CFP! wrote:Is this guy supposed to play for the Wolves this season?tantalum wrote:Canucks signed Alexandre Mallet (2nd round pick 57th overall this past draft)

Jury's very much out, but we'll see what he does come training camp. It's better news than him holding out or something.

Yeah well it's a crapshoot at the 57th overall spot amirite?Lancer wrote: I'd like to see where this kid is at 2 years down the road. He's a 20 years old late-blooming grit guy or so I hear?
We'll just hafta... glances at RD... trust our scouts?

Yeah I've heard that he complains about cliquishness on the team and randomly shouts out KISS MY ASS!clem wrote: His yap & tude (on the ice & in the dressing room) may be hurting him.

Re: Offseason Wheelings and Dealings
PK looks like an intensely competitive young man who doesn’t easily settle for mediocrity. Not someone who easily tolerates the likes of Gomez or the Kostitsyn brothers on the club. Not someone smiled upon by a mediocre organization that doesn't want problems highlighted.
I like his tude. He got swagger, to the point of being brash, but with talent to back it up. He could take his game to the next level on a contending team with a mature core.
The friction between PK & club might be used by another team to trade for a good young talent at a good price….& Marc Bergevin might not want to trade him to the Eastern conference. He’d look good in a Canucks uniform.

Re: Offseason Wheelings and Dealings
I'm thinking this might be a big challenge for Archibald this training camp. Maybe fitter, faster, and determined. If he flunks out again it might well be his last chance to show his stuff to a panel of experts without getting a preconceived idea he's not good enough.
Any one know where Bitz has gone, just out of interest before poster start making assumption

Fred he is an unrestricted free agent at this point.
But the real question is, who rejected who?

Do the Aquilini bro's have to pay that or McCaw? I'm assuming AquaBros.CrzyCanuck wrote:so... not sure if anyone has caught this but

Anyways I hope the Canucks beat the NYR in the finals, how fitting that would be!
We'd definitely need Doan for that grinding final.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
Re: Offseason Wheelings and Dealings
Ya. It's going to be the Canucks organization, which = AquaBros.SKYO wrote: Do the Aquilini bro's have to pay that or McCaw? I'm assuming AquaBros.
