Wow, being a Dad is the best.

Today I picked the boy up from daycare. He wanted to drive his jeep for a while when we got home. It's been super nice here weather wise so I messed around cleaning the garage while he played in his jeep.

Last summer we planted a tree together. Kinda korny but I did it with my dad and now when I drive past our old house I can see this huge tree. We planted it together and my wife took pictures of us once we were done. It WAS a nice Maple Tree. It looked beautiful in the fall when the leaf's turned red. It WAS about 10 feet tall but had a skinny trunk as it WAS still just a baby.

Remember the story I've told before about planting a fruit tree with when a kid is born and burying the placenta with the roots to start the tree off. As the tree grows with the kid and the kid weeds and waters the tree the kid learns valuable life lessons and is rewarded later in life, as a man, with shade and fruit. Then when hes old and dying, the tree can be cut down for lumber a coffin.
