Like who exactly? Who would you have taken instead, and why? I'm assuming you've scouted these guys as much as the Canucks organization!
And it's not like he dropped off the board, it seems as though once you got past the top ten it was a bunch of the same guys. Bunch of players that can do a number of things sorta well.
Now it will be up to Gaunce to work is ass off and continue his development into becoming a pro.
Geez man cut the kid a bit of slack! Look at how many great NHL players were drafted later on. It's all about how he develops from this point on!
