If there is any city out there that has had more hard-pressed luck than Vancouver, it's Seattle.

-Couldn't win the World Series with Ken Griffey jr. and Randy Johnson

-Couldn't win the NBA Championships with Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp.

-Couldn't put away the Steelers when they had their chance at the Super Bowl (worst officiated NFL game in history?).

And now - they miss out on having a guy that would've been a God in their city.

Since the Stanley Cup finals on June 15th, 2011.............

-The BC Lions have won a Grey Cup (my 2nd favorite sports franchise)
-The Miami Heat and Lebron James won the NBA Championships. (my 5th favorite sports franchise).

Lions winning the Grey Cup was a "feel good" moment for me since they did it in Vancouver.

Heat winning was special since........

1) Like the Canucks, they are the most reviled team in the league
2) They defeated a Boston-based sports franchise in 7 games........and have beaten Boston two years in a row now
3) Their top player, Lebron James, was unfairly bashed and shit on for the past few seasons by the media........and he finally responded to all of it by letting his actions do the talking.

I've seen all my sports hero's/teams succeed:

-Tiger Woods
-Mike Tyson
-Floyd Money Mayweather
-Brock Lesnar
-Cain Valasquez
-Andre Agassi
-Pete Sampras
-Toronto Blue Jays
-Team Canada Men's hockey
-BC Lions
-Miami Heat

-I'm pretty sure the Seahawks will never win anything and so I've written them off..........

All that is left is one.
