The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.
...actually Wade has been a real issue for the team this post season.
Rumour has it he is suffering some sort of injury because, for the most part and outside of the odd game, his play has been relatively pedestrian.
Not helping his bro LeBron out to much right now is Dwayne.
Better pick it up quick or the Larry O'Brien trophy will be sitting in OKC and King James will be wondering how the fuck he is going to win one championship. Not seven, not six, not five, not four......

Mr Lever - I am well aware of Wade's struggles, lol. My comment was meant to be facetious.
p.s._______________As an aside, our lovely friends in this hick province have already hypothesized the idea of Kevin Durant being the next Michael Jordan.

Yeah I figured. I just wanted to get my shot at James in, seeing how he's your boy and all.
As far as Durant, Jordan may be a bit much to heap on the young lad right now but he is certainly going to be discussed in LeBrons group if he wins this series.
People in Seattle are wringing their hands together right about now.

What could have been...
I can't help but feel bad for Seattle, lol.
If there is any city out there that has had more hard-pressed luck than Vancouver, it's Seattle.
-Couldn't win the World Series with Ken Griffey jr. and Randy Johnson
-Couldn't win the NBA Championships with Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp.
-Couldn't put away the Steelers when they had their chance at the Super Bowl (worst officiated NFL game in history?).
And now - they miss out on having a guy that would've been a God in their city.
The Seattle Metropolitans also [Mod edit: please remember that this site is visited by women and kids - please (everyone) tone down the sexist and immature content - thanks]
Since the Stanley Cup finals on June 15th, 2011.............
-The BC Lions have won a Grey Cup (my 2nd favorite sports franchise)
-The Miami Heat and Lebron James won the NBA Championships. (my 5th favorite sports franchise).
Lions winning the Grey Cup was a "feel good" moment for me since they did it in Vancouver.
Heat winning was special since........
1) Like the Canucks, they are the most reviled team in the league
2) They defeated a Boston-based sports franchise in 7 games........and have beaten Boston two years in a row now
3) Their top player, Lebron James, was unfairly bashed and shit on for the past few seasons by the media........and he finally responded to all of it by letting his actions do the talking.
