What ever happened to the golden rule of "what happens in Scottsdale stays in Scottsdale"?

I so wanted the Bruins to fail in the first round after we did, I wanted the favoured New York, St. Louis and Nashville to be upset too....

Weird not cheering a team on as opposed to cheering a team to lose...

I need a vacation.... :eh:
World Championships start tomorrow, you can cheer for Keith to get injured by a Burrows slapshot.
or Burrows' stick accidentally tangled up with Keith's hair...

To those saying it takes balls to discipline these two dumfucks:

DISAGREE!

It's a no-brainer (i.e. even a dumfuck would get this right).

Agreed with Strangelove,

Impact players or not, Nashville made the right decision by sticking to their guns........and not compromising the values and principles of the team.

Well, Kostitsyn isn't Russian.
White Russian, Black Russian... not much difference.
They're both made with Vodka and Kahlua.

Poile did what he should have done. Doesn't matter if they lose with AK-46 and Rad in the press-box. If he didn't suspend them, you may as well have stuck a fork in the team. The fact that one of the players apparently informed management about it kinda tells you how the rest of the dressing room felt about their antics. Thing is, I don't see either player trying much harder. They're Russians and Russians usually don't care about the post-season because they're not getting paid.

Interesting to see what happens with this team moving forward. I hope for an implosion which will make Weber all the more available once they're bounced. Maybe it's not such a pipe-dream after all about seeing him in Canuck silks.

Truthfully-speaking, I would be happy if the Canucks were an eastern-european free organization.

Trotz seemed to suggest that if they won they'd stick with the same lineup. But who knows. If Trotz believes that those two being hungover in Game 2 was a major factor they lost (and Radulov was terrible so there is something to it), they may not get back in....ever. Trotz and the organization are extremely pissed off.

Preds will win the series now...maybe Booth, Kes & Higgins aka The AmEx Line™ should have tied one on in LaLaLand, Kim K was available... 8-)
I love every move Jim Benning makes 8-)

Getting Radulov might have been the worst thing they did....
Was just curious as to what you guys thought about trying to acquire Radulov and Kostitsyn next year?

Buy low sell high?

And before people automatically dismiss the idea, lets keep in mind that Mike Richards and Jeff Carter were booted from Philadelphia for what was essentially the same thing. Both guys seem to have gotten their act together and are now helping the Kings en route to a Stanley Cup.

Canucks could use some scoring punch up front and some depth on defense. Getting these pieces in a relatively easy acquisition might be pretty nice.

Why not bring back O'Brien while we're at it.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

lol, are you bored my man, quite the roll you are on today....

Is the comparison between the two Eastern European dudes and Carter/Richards due to the party thang?

Because that's about where the similarities end.

Ya know what I mean?

You need to go release some pent up energy on one of those Daddy issue gash....

O'Brien isn't liked by Vigneault, and didn't leave on the best of terms with Gillis from what I understand.

Contrary to what you may think, I "get" the fact that perhaps bringing in a guy (or guys) with baggage can be risky.

However - there is also the chance that these guys smarten up and realize that if they screw up on TWO different teams, it could be curtains.

Radulov is a pretty damn good player.........the type of guy that could help a team needing top 6 scoring forwards. Kostitsyn is also a top 4 worthy defenseman.

I'm not saying that we do this. I'm just saying that I think it's worth atleast considering.........and not automatically saying, "no" to it after 5 seconds of thought.
