I hope Salo stays in that 6-7 role. He's been a leader for us and he obviously can still play, just not every game, every night. Play him on the bottom pairing and on the PP.
You simply cannot have a top-4 guy taking "scheduled maintenance days" late in the season.
Are you talking about Bieksa?? As for Salo, I agree that the Canucks could use him as a 6-7 role. When he retires, Salo could always be the defensive coach for the Canucks (only if he stays in North America).
