Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Ottawa - 1st
Philly - 2nd
Phx just so they can knock out Chicago and those cocky Hawk fans who have been chirping us since we got knocked out.

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

I spend the winters in Phoenix. It would be nice to see them win something before they relocateukcanuck wrote:obviously because...?BCExpat wrote:Phoenix obviously. Close second would be Ottawa.

...there are far worse guys in the league to win a Cup than Doan, Pyatt, Whitney, Morris, Aucoin et cetera.
Some pretty honest, hard nosed guys playing for the Coyotes.

Once the Canucks are out, thats who I usually cheer for next; guys/stars nearing the end of their careers deserving of their first cup.donlever wrote:...there are far worse guys in the league to win a Cup than Doan, Pyatt, Whitney, Morris, Aucoin et cetera.

But to be honest, I might not watch another game of these playoffs. Just a whole lot of MEH in my hockey world right now.

nice guys finish last in Buttman's NHL, never mind having a stanley cup champ homeless. but yeah I could be philosophical about it.donlever wrote:...there are far worse guys in the league to win a Cup than Doan, Pyatt, Whitney, Morris, Aucoin et cetera.

Oh I agree.Eddy Punch Clock wrote: Just a whole lot of MEH in my hockey world right now.
I can unequivocally state that I won't be watching another NHL game until Ocotber at the earliest.

Team Canada at the Worlds...
Imaging if Luongo and Schneider get calls and both accept, wouldn't a gold medal match between Canada and the USA be perfect?

Congrats man, I was cheering like crazy for the Yotes to oust those Shithawks.BCExpat wrote:How about those Coyotes
Is there going to be any offense in the second round?

I think we better get used to 2 -1 games. I hope the Sens beat the Rangers - I would hate to see Tortorella or Sather win another cup.Hank wrote:Congrats man, I was cheering like crazy for the Yotes to oust those Shithawks.BCExpat wrote:How about those Coyotes

Not to mention that we could use Henrik Lundqvist at the World Championships...BCExpat wrote:I think we better get used to 2 -1 games. Re: What will your second team be?
And that's why it's so frustrating and sad to be a Canucks fan. You can add a team in a non-traditional market like the Ozarks, name them the Arkansas Inbred Hillbillies and they would hoist the cup before your Vancouver Canucks.donlever wrote:...there are far worse guys in the league to win a Cup than Doan, Pyatt, Whitney, Morris, Aucoin et cetera.

Does that mean you won't be around these here parts either?

Re: What will your second team be?
2-1? If we're so lucky. All 4 teams/goalies from the Western Conference have GAA significantly below 2.00. I can see a couple of King/Blues games 0-0 midway through the 3rd. If you do have any interest in watching playoff hockey now the Nucks are out, I think the Eastern Conference games may have a bit more of an excitement factor moving forward.BCExpat wrote:I think we better get used to 2 -1 games.
