Would you even recognize him if you saw him? I've seen a few pics of Chris but I highly doubt that I'd automatically know who he is if I saw him.

I feel bad for Chris in a way. I know that he was greatly affected by the Stanley Cup loss last year (to the same extent that I was), but I hope he hasn't given up on the sport.

I hope "our world" hears from Chris at some point in the future.

Time for some new skates! Currently have Grafs 705's but they're wearing down after 8 years of use. Never really liked the way they fit as my forefoot was always a pressure point, even had to have the side punched out on my right foot.

Leaning towards the Supreme line. One80's if I can find em in my size.

I don't care about brands anymore. The best fit is which fits best, so maybe you have to try different products.
It all depends on the physics of your feet. The so called best skate can be shitty when wearing it by your own.

Just feel comfortable without any major pressure points and keep them on for a longer time, at least 20 minutes to see if some light pain gets stronger, if not they're going to wear out anyways.

ps: i have a pair of Bauer and CCM (don't know which model and too lazy to go to the cellar. ) But the CCM fits better to my foot.

..I've always skated in Bauer products, back to the old Supreme 96's when I was a young Bantam punk and everyone had to have CCM.
