Wow, Nashville with 2 that are eerily reminiscent of last year versus the nucks. one off a defender into his own net, and some freak deflection from the blue line. Can Nashville actually score goals or do they have some weird nashville voodoo/puck-luck?!

No doubt, I was hoping Philly can put up a good fight!mathonwy wrote:Holy shit. Refs have put away their whistles.

That is a hell of a pace in the Pens and Flyers game. Great hockey, end to end action, big hits and two teams that can really push the pace. F-in Eh we get OT.
The Preds and Wings is ok but it doesn't hold a candle to the Eastern game in terms of speed and physicality.

I can not believe the Pens couldn't hold a 3-0 lead.
I see the Flyers winning this one.

Zetter just missed a wide open net it!
Be one hell of comeback if Philly can score in OT.

Re: OOTS 11/12 playoff edition
Yeah wtf ....Zetterburg had too much time there.
Nashville tries to suck the fucking life right out of the game. Not an entertaining team to watch at all. They have a shitload of team speed, a great defence and a great goalie....... let them loose a little No Neck.

Jakob Voracek!!!!
Flyers made out like bandits getting all that young blood for Carter and Richards. Turf two 27 year olds with huge long contracts and egos to match and bring in 4 top 9 forwards between 18 - 23. Fucking shrewd moves by P Holmgren.

I think Nashville is used to playing that way as they used to lack a lot of forward talent.Blob Mckenzie wrote:Yeah wtf ....Zetterburg had too much time there.

Key powerplay/kill right here for this nash/det game.
*edit detroit makes it a one goal game.

I saw that Weber play live and thought it looked cheap. Now that i see the replay, damn that was something. I wonder how many games you get for punching someone in the back of the head, and then slamming their head into the glass.
My guess is that they'll go light on him, but you never know.

My thoughts exactly. Great comeback by the Flyers, and I was amazed to see them keep their composure.Blob Mckenzie wrote:That is a hell of a pace in the Pens and Flyers game. Great hockey, end to end action, big hits and two teams that can really push the pace. F-in Eh we get OT.

Re: OOTS 11/12 playoff edition
If Aaron Rome gets 4 games in the Stanley Cup Final for a clean hit that was less than half a second late precedent has been set and Weber should get no less than that for intentionally trying to slam an opponent's head into the glass.
The NHL is a joke already, it will be an utter disgrace if Weber goes unpunished.....and a fine is not enough.
That being said, I still want Weber on my team.
