We be fucked.
Raymond is a worry.

There are rare games where he will skate to the front of the net - even attempting to stand there & draw a penalty. Then there are all the other games.

Can't see him lasting under continued abuse. Platooning him might help.

Wowzers EPC,

I'm not the only one!

I'm excited for sure but... I'm still feeling the sting from last season. I don't know if I'll be able to give my heart to that cold bitch again. As of today, G1R1, I’m guarded....

I sure hope I'm able to love again.....
BTW, NOT A FLAME ... JUST AN OBSERVATION ... :P

Any idea where to get a playoff towel in Victoria?
I thought towel day was May 25th?
A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have. Partly it has great practical value. You can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapours; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kakrafoon; use it to sail a miniraft down the slow heavy River Moth; wet it for use in hand-to-hand-combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal (such a mind-bogglingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough.
More importantly, a towel has immense psychological value. For some reason, if a strag (strag: non-hitch hiker) discovers that a hitch hiker has his towel with him, he will automatically assume that he is also in possession of a toothbrush, face flannel, soap, tin of biscuits, flask, compass, map, ball of string, gnat spray, wet weather gear, space suit etc., etc. Furthermore, the strag will then happily lend the hitch hiker any of these or a dozen other items that the hitch hiker might accidentally have "lost". What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is, is clearly a man to be reckoned with.

No Daniel for game 1 confirmed by AV.

21-33-14
7-17-40
20-26-36
27-34-9

2-8
23-3
29-6

No Daniel means it is imperative Kesler raise his game to playoff level if not Nashville series level.

I thought you had a no postseason posting rule don lever..............I was beginning to think that is a pretty good policy.

Go Canucks Go...................... oh, and I agree with ODB, I am guarded as well. Last year I was all in, and it still stings.

The third line may be our advantage.

Holy shit. I am pumped now. All it took was coming on here, reading a poem by Lever and some of the comments by you fine people.

Man. It seems like we've waited a long time to get back here. Now it's time for the boys to go get us something that we've been waiting for a lot longer for.

WTF is AV thinking? :o
This is hardly the time for his goofy line juggles, why not put someone who's shown some effort & finish into the top line?
I'd rather see Higgins on one of the top two lines - he deserves it.

I think AV may be testing the waters on this one to try and see if Raymond could draw a few penalties so we can bust out these new PP formations we've been keeping under wraps. LA is definitely one of the slower teams in the league and speed is one of our biggest assets, may as well exploit it. This will also give us a chance to see just how tight the officials will call it now that the rules have changed.
