Luongo made more saves in ~27 minutes than Schneider faced shots in ~37 minutes. Heck, Luongo faced more shots in the 1st period then Schneider faced in total (including the shootout).

That is only true of the 3rd period.
The Canucks didn't really turn it around until the last few minutes of the 2nd. Schneider played behind the exact same team for a good chunk of the 2nd period. The 3rd was all Vancouver, not defensively though, they still shit the bed often enough when the puck was down their end. Fortunately we controlled the play and kept the Duck's in their own end for most of the period.
