We kept Kesler as 2nd line centre (strangely comfortable with that)

1) Couldn't one argue that Pahlsson is just as "unadaptable" as Hodgson but for entirely different reasons? Neither guy can really play wing, and as "unfit" as Hodgson would be in a shutdown role, Pahlsson is just as "unfit" to be counted on to score goals.....just incase there were injuries and someone needed to step up. Long story short - I think both players are equally "limited" for different reasons.

Pahlsson may be "unfit" to be counted on to score.....in the regular season. In the playoffs with the Anaheim in 2007 Pahlsson had 12 points in 20 games. That would have put him 5th on our team in scoring during last year's playoff run. And we played 25 games last spring. 5th on the team is pretty good for a 3rd line SHUTDOWN center.....no?
He must be coming straight from the Arms with the Blind Man and his walking stick. Will there be any scraps in the front yard byt midnight, Blobby. If so, film it.Blob Mckenzie wrote:donlever wrote:Blob Mckenzie wrote: i know.....who wouldn't want Crosby, Malkin, Toews and Staal up the middle .

Of course Pahlsson is as limited as Hodgson, it's just that he is limited to being the type of player that offers exactly what the organization wanted from its third line center.

And RD says Hank is #trending the wrong way.
His cap hit is 7.7 per until 2016.
Luongos is 5.3.
You have an accounting degree so I don't need to tell you the difference there.

I dunno but I'm thinking we could probably use some of that extra dough to re-up guys like Burr and Edler.
That's just me though...
(and yes I spotted your reference...like Vinny)

Curious to know if some of that 'evaluation' you seem to be a fly on the wall on involved the fact that we could only score 8 goals in 7 games?
