LOL I used to hang out there a little bit back around the turn of the century. A Buddy of mine used to bartend there but he got clipped for stealing. Such a shyster this fucker was. He was a great guy but just a dude who had an angle for everything. His name was Ron....went about 6ft4 . ....ring a bell okcanuck ?

My memory is good its just short. I dont recall him,but I did a little investigation today.
Phoned a barfly friend of mine and he remembers Ron, says he was a real good bartender, although my buddy could be bartended by Assad and wouldnt even flinch as long as he has a beer in his hand.

Buddy says Ron now owns/runs an internet cafe/bar/brothel somewhere in Mexico.

Somebody a lot smarter than me should write a novel about Whiskeys. The characters that of come from that bar over the years is amazing.

As for Tappers its now unfortunately a condominium complex. They call that progress .I call bullshit.

I saw him this summer , same old slacker. it could be a brothel, but I doubt it. Then again it wouldn't surprise me. When we lived together in the mid 90's he had welfare checks for four or five different cats delivered to our place.

Ya I lived there and operated a business for 6 years in the Brokenagan...I lived up in Ghetto-rosa which didn't help me stay. I also lived in Osoyoos on the water and that place I miss pretty bad...stupid ex.
