ok bring up Flat, oldtime hockey, what an incredible story if he would be the first one to bring the cup to Van as the first keeper, so the money invested in Cloutch would be worth it. We would have the best paid backup in history. What a story.

Ya this one's a no brainer. No offense but there's no way anyone other than Auld is starting at backup this year. That's how most everyone works to be a number one is minor league to backup to starter. I just hope Crawford gives the kid some games and doesn't burn out our new 2.5 Million goalie by playing him 9 games out of 10
