Stupid decisions are ruining a good effort.
2 bad goals by Luongo.
A horrible pinch by Hamhuis.
A terrible choice by Bieksa on a 3-on-1.

Yes because he was a real bruiser when he was 15 pounds heavier.tantalum wrote: I'm a fan of the way Raymond can play but he is really really struggling right now. I wouldn't be surprised if he's playing 15-20 pounds underweight.

That was like a Bieksa 2-for-1 special. Terrible decision as you mentioned, getting caught, then pushing Brule into position for the goal.tantalum wrote:

And yes, the greasy one is shaky tonight.

You know I'm not saying that. He was never strong on the puck but this is absolutely ridiculous.Blob Mckenzie wrote: Yes because he was a real bruiser when he was 15 pounds heavier.
Canucks have brought the effort but a few of them forgot the brains.

I know.... Raymond is bloody awful this year and yes i know he was injured. But he was the shits last year too. the due looks like a boy amongst men out there and it's been this way for the last 100 games or so. This isn't new.tantalum wrote:You know I'm not saying that. Well he was injured for a large chunk of last year as well (shoulder). But I know what you mean. He's simply forgotten how to use his speed. Simple as that. His hands aren't great and never will be but he used to actually use that speed to go around a guy and get to the net. Now he uses the speed to gain the zone and that's it. As soon as he crosses that blueline his brain completely freezes.Blob Mckenzie wrote: I know.... Raymond is bloody awful this year and yes i know he was injured. It's too bad that we get to the cup finals with that former bruised/injured team, and we can't retain that exact team?
As Ehrhoff/Torres would help us tremendously right now.
CE can play with Edler no problem while helping keep that puck possession game strong, and Torres and his veteran rugged leadership on the 3rd would be way more beneficial over softy Ray.

His confidence is shot and he looks afraid to take a hit. He's quick to duck out, fall down, try the spin-o-rama and then fall down etc. It's a death sentence for a player of his stature to be fearful of an opponent laying the body on him.tantalum wrote:Well he was injured for a large chunk of last year as well (shoulder). I can't see him being a Canuck next year. Certainly a candidate to hit UFA when the Canucks take him to arbitration and then walk away from his guaranteed 1.9M RFA contract.

Uh huh, Bieksa brainfart and Luongo rebound.
Nice way to start the 3rd period.

3 terrible goals by Luongo tonight. Time to ride Schneider for a bit as they did earlier in the year so Luongo can get his head on straight.

Couldn't agree more. Give Luongo a kick in the ass and park him on the bench . He is pissing away points for the team right now.tantalum wrote:3 terrible goals by Luongo tonight. Time to ride Schneider for a bit as they did earlier in the year so Luongo can get his head on straight.
I could see Raymond getting parked in the poist season with other options ( Reinprecht???, Bitz ) getting the nod over him.
I agree with Island Canuck too, no way do i want to see Raymond on this team next season. Let him walk.

Yeah it's too bad a uber millionaire such as Luongo always needs a few games to get his mind back on track, it's no wonder why MG wants to trade him.tantalum wrote:3 terrible goals by Luongo tonight. Would like to see Bitz back with the big club.
He gave the twins some life (& space) when first put together.
