GDT: Canucks vs Habs - 7:00PM PST, CBC

Post by Meds »

Ok, so the Habs are in town, it's 3 hours til puck drop and nobody has started a GDT.....WTF?

In the last meeting between these teams the Canucks rallied to erase a 3-0 deficit and take a 4-3 S/O victory. Now, as the teams meet for the final time this year they find themselves heading in completely different directions. Montreal is now in the hunt for a lottery pick while Vancouver is in the hunt for the President's Trophy.....again.

Vigneault is going with the Gragnani/Taven pairing again. Means Rome will be lights out good again in one particular viewer's eyes tonight. :P

Can the Sedin's bump the slump?

Can Kassian shrug off a mediocre last game?

Will Luongo hold the fort?

We'll see.....in just 3 hours.

Believe.

Agreed: WTF!!

Max Pacioretty – Tomas Plekanec - Erik Cole
Rene Bourque - Lars Eller - Ryan White
Blake Geoffrion - Scott Gomez - Aaron Palushaj
Brad Staubitz - Petteri Nokelainen – Louis Leblanc

Josh Gorges - P.K. Subban
Alexei Emelin - Andrei Markov
Tomas Kaberle – Chris Campoli

Carey Price

@

Dank - Hank - Bank
AMEX
Raymond - Pahlsson - Hansen
Manny - Lappy - Kassy

Huis - Juice
Edler - Salo
Gragnani - Tanev

LOU

Sounds like Markov is finally back.

Look for someone like Lappy to welcome him back with a thunderous hit, sparking a line-brawl. :drink:

Canucks players from la belle province = Burrows, LOU, Grags and Lappy. They should be up for this one.

As will ex-Canadien Higgins.

I find it funny that even the tank-happy Hab fans are yelling:

VIVA LES CANUCKS!!!
____
Try to focus on someday.

Yer like this big kid holding a big ass lollipop jumping up and down yelling shut'em down shut'em down.

lol

I like the energy of the Canucks tonight. The Amex line is absolutely our first line right now.

David Booth has got to score on one of those rushes right?

I liked seeing how Kesler was stalking Subban making him go backwards. Fucking punk.

Higgins for MVP... He seems to be the sandpaper and energy that elevates his line mates.

He can play both wings -- as much as I love the AMEX line, why hasn't AV ever tried to put Higgins with the twins? Could be the guy to win the board battles when the cycle is broken...

A minute after you made that comment, Ron asked PJ the exact same question.

Higgins with the Sedins? Why the fuck not. The Sedins are absolutely getting throttled out there. It really sucks that they aren't even close to playing their way out of whatever funk is afflicting them right now.

I cannot believe #shutdown is not trending right now...

What's the point of adding toughness when even the fucking Habs are bullying you. At some point the Sedins have to stand up for themselves and whack someone. Shit, even a noted pacifist like Craig Simpson is advocating some violence from Hank.

Kassian just had a wrecking ball shift and nobody gave him any credit.

Guy was laying out Habs left and right.
