Well the rumour mill should get a boost today as the 'Nucks showcase Schneider - er, give Lou a rest.
I wonder if AV will try Alberts tonight instead of Rome?

A Ballard / Tanev pairing would be more interesting, if not likely from AV.

Salo is out for a rest? A chance to see Tanev with Edler I would think.
Also, Brodeur's comeback season happens to coincide with him finally switching to modern equipment?

Word is (Murphy) that Edler & Alberts will be paired L / R.
Given Edler's efforts on the left side, a scary proposition.

Or the return of hooking and holding?Larry Goodenough wrote: Also, Brodeur's comeback season happens to coincide with him finally switching to modern equipment?

Edler normally plays on the left, with Salo on the right.clem wrote:Word is (Murphy) that Edler & Alberts will be paired L / R.

I posted the word backwards (or my typing fingers were disconnected from my mind). Word is that Edler & Alberts will be paired R / L .
We know where Edler plays ...... normally.

Rome®
That was just too easy.
I have concluded that the Canucks are a VERY VERY good team.

Holy shit. Ginger absolutely robbed Kovy.
Re: GDT - Feb 24, Canucks @ NJ Devils, 4pm PDT - SNet P
Ginger looking very good tonight. Two point blank chances for Kolvy and Parise of all people! Obviously the Kolvy save was the better of the two but neither were particularly easy. Also made a nice stop on Bernier's deflection. What a luxury it is to have two quality goaltenders. Odd that this team has perennially sought that one goaltender and now they have two!
Hopefully the Canucks can tack on another goal or two next period because there legs will catch up to them by the third. I'm out.

Wow... the Devils just can't handle the Nucks speed. We're on them so fast that the Devils can't make a pass.
This is fun to see.

Tired tired team the back half of this game. Truly a "get the lead and try to hang on" type of game.

So I guess the 'Nucks are reading this board, after Rome & Raymond got slammed here for a poor effort yesterday, they each potted a goal tonight.
Defence seemed weak tonight, I hope the bottom 3 get better after playing a few more games.....
