If he doesn't clear himself fit and ready to play Sunday against the Ducks, he's in for some serious media->fan backlash Monday.

He must be close though.

Sunday is the Lords day of rest and worship, that could factor into his decision.

Will be interesting to see how long Salo is out for.

I have to agree.

I understand wanting to get a full practice in before playing but if he doesn't play Sunday the natives will start getting restless.

Meh, he blew out his knee, and was already ahead of the original schedule. Besides, the team is doing fine atm w/o him.

I say let it rest until after the ASG. That's plenty of time to heal that problem. If he's not back by then, well...

He didn't blow out his knee and regardless he's been given full clearance.

The original estimate was 4 to 6 weeks and it's been around 5.

I personally don't care if he takes a few extra days but I suspect the players, coaching staff, and media will care.

Like I said if he doesn't play tomorrow you will start hearing some whispers, if he doesn't play Tuesday the whispers will likely turn to laughter.

Sitting the rest of the month would be absurd IMO that will never happen and nor should it.

Seeing as it will likely take Booth some time to get his legs under him and regain his comfort level and confidence, most would agree the sooner he gets back into the lineup the better. He should be a big part of this clubs success as it enters the dog days and down through the stretch drive in positioning themselves in the standings.

Not rushing back to play against his former club might prove wise in the long run.

Sorry guys, recanted.

Didn't realize the ASG is on the 29th. Thought it was earlier than that.

Get back to work Booth.

^^^Murph tweeted yesterday that Sami still out indefinitely with a concussion. Frankly, he can take as long as we wants so long as he's good to go com April.

Update - Murph has tweeted that Booth is likely to play tonight against the Ducks. Amex line in tact.

Heard somewhere he was feeling better but I think you are supposed to be symptom free for 7 days, so I would guess the game next weekend.

If i were AV, id sit salo as long as possible. Our defense absolutely need to figure out how to play good sound defense with or without him.

Like our forwards. Our defense should be a bunch of interchangeable pieces so if anyone goes down, we dont skip a beat.
