On the way to my hotel here in St Louis from the airport, I tuned into the sports station and they were attempting to talk hockey. You can totally tell these guys knew NOTHING about the sport and wished it was basketball. They called Henrik a sister, probably to attract some fans to the game on Thursday. They called him that for ducking the melee in Boston. They put it like they never would have Hank on their team because they went close enough to calling him a pussy.

I don't care, he's a star player, and he shouldn't get involved. Leave it to the 4th liners and others.

For the most part, the sentiments from the hockey fans we met up with tonight say they hate the Bruins, the Habs, and the NYR. Big time hate on the Wings here as well as the Hawks, but lots of respect.

Meh, I hate how much this has gotten blown up, but I am glad it's blowing up in Boston's face. Karma took a while to get there, but it's finally happening.
Didn't you know?I'm Front Page news! ;)

I don't believe it for a minute. Regular season yes. But as we saw last year, come playoffs and the post-season revenue...anything goes....anything to win it all...one ring to bind them...

MG doesn't believe it either and that's why he stocked the Wolves with Hyenas....

8-)

I completely agree with this.

The Bruins have to get through the Eastern conference and their style of play and how to counteract it is being worked on by their prospective opponents. A part of that will be head games and characterization of their team as a bunch of goons. Should they get through the early rounds and make it to the final again I'm not so sure they'll have the free rein they appeared to have last year. I think this is a more vigilant league with respect to injuries and the Bruins have done themselves no favours with their defence of Marchand.

If indeed the pendulum has swung, it's a long pendulum and slow. There'll be no chnages to this years SC IMO. Peter Chilereli can read tea leafs like every one else and if momentum builds his team will backk of during the season...but the play-offs no way his teams built for this style. Some one mentioned on the radio that the Bruins play in MSG and Philly next 2 games and it'll be intereseting to see how the Bruins play away from home

Interesting to read Gallaghers article in the Province today ( 12/1/12) were he speculates that other teams will actually clone the Bruins. The you listen to MG on team 1040 interview

http://www.teamradio.ca/news/alain-vign ... mment-1178

where he feels the league will respond to the Bruins methodology and clamp down in future SC series

Time will tell I guess. If the Bruins take the Cup again then we'll all need to tip our hat to Gallagher
cheers
