GDT: Canucks @ Beantown - 10am - Snet / NHLN-US

Post by Cornuck »

OK people, don't forget to make your beer run tonight! Or grab that Caesar mix on the way home from work. Early start Saturday morning for some reason.

If the team isn't pumped for this one, nothing will get them going. Good time to get some revenge, and hey, maybe an instigator or two! We're tied for 2nd overall with the Ruins (they have 4 games in hand) - but a beatdown will look good.

I thought I heard the Ginger was starting tomorrow.

Go Canucks. I'd like to see someone bootfuck Marchand but outside of Bieksa i don't think the Canucks have anyone capable of doing it. :(

That's what the Canucks have on Facebook. Regular rotation or saving Lu from the trauma? :?

Best to leave the roster announcement until the last minute.
Impose extra limits on media access too.

Go for maximum Boston media irritation.

I would happily accept a <5 minutes instigator for Bieksa in this game.

Want to see the Canucks skate hard, manage the puck well, & finish checks - the entire game.

Make Boston look slow.

I guess the first question is Schneider starting or is AV just screwing with the media and Bruins. And as Luongo has made changes to his glove style this season why give Boston a close look now ??

Talking about Chara giving a speech in the SC finals, Schneider is very well thought of player in the Canucks room
cheers

If there was ever evidence that management feels #1 is mentally fragile, this is it.

Or maybe physically fragile; remember what happened in that Pittsburgh matinee game a few years back.

NFL playoffs perhaps? Poor planning by the NHL, what's new.

Or they may want to give CS a start AT HOME in front of family and friends?

Yes, I'm sure they do want that but IMO it is a secondary consideration.

You can make an argument on either side, but I would've started Lou.

It also might be useful to know how Schneider handles the Bruins attack.. you know, in case it comes relevant later this year. :look:

Too much doom and gloom.

This is an opportunity to showcase Schneider.

I think this is actually Gillis' decision, although he probably made AV seem like it was his
