I don't think the Canucks want Luo to get the SO.

Seriously? So you think you have all information necessary to make judgement?Mondi wrote:Seriously? He's playing a lot better. But there is no excuse for how the player started the season. None.clem wrote:Lu was good. Take that, haters.
From Yahoo:
Last season, when he was part of the Jennings winning duo, he had 38 wins in 60 starts. So far this year he has 13 in 21. If you extrapolate that to sixty games you get 37.14, so he is basically on track to repeat the splendid regular season he had last year, when he won Jennings and was a Vezina candidate. After a subpar start to the season in which he was struggled and had injuries, Luongo made 33 saves to earn his first shutout of the season, helping the Vancouver Canucks beat the Minnesota Wild 4-0 Monday night.
Yes, he played like crap in a number of games, while he "was struggled (sic!) and had injuries", but as of late he looks like the real deal again. I'd say apart from the Bruins, who have Thomas/Rask, this is the hottest tandem in the league.
And Luongo wasn't the reason we lost the final last season. Thomas was.

Just for fun mondi, you should pay close attention to a different team for an entire season. You'll quickly notice most guys have slumps, the difference it RL's is always at the start so it is magnified. As for an excuse, according to RL he has tried several different summer regiments and nothing really is different. I don't give a shit about his October/November, June is all that matters. That goes for every skater on the team as well.Mondi wrote:Seriously? He's playing a lot better. But there is no excuse for how the player started the season. None.clem wrote:Lu was good.
