Lineup the same.
Cory looking for a win and some support.
Looks to be a swing game for the Canucks (again?)
Don't underestimate their d-core.
Just win baby. We need a streak of 6-0-2 to get back into thins.

Parliament.
Although MP's and Senators are very different animals. May I suggest "The Appointed @ the Selected".

Pre season hockey.
That was an awful period, no emotion, no intensity.

CPAC is more interesting than this game, for sure.
I thought the Canucks would come out fired up to get in the playoff race, but apparently playing a couple of lackluster games a week is what they would rather do.

It's a great day for hockey!

Have any other tidbits of wisdom to add?

Agreed. Bcs Skyo and Reef aren't doing PBP anymore via post count?Mondi wrote:Anyone have any thoughts on why the GDCs are so much quieter around here than they used to be at 'central?.

This game is fucking boring.

Are we seriously this bad?
Or is Ottawa playing a good game?
I honestly can't tell..

Well that's a relief - Higgins finally tips in the winner in what seemed like the fifth OT...
I have bruises on my eyes, and I'm pretty sure nobody shit on my pillowcase, but I understand chicks dig that anyways.

Didn't get to watch or listen to this one.....
A one page GDT pretty much sums up the quality of this game and the way the team is playing right now.
Fart.
Yawn.
Nothing to see here.....

I think GDTs are quieter due to the seperate subforum. At CC the hockey board was a one stop shop for news, GDTs and prospect updates. I've noticed the wolf howls forum is quiet as well.

Boring game.
What is with all that military crap at a hockey game? No disrespect, but that propaganda and war mongering doesn't belong at a game IMO. It was greeted with a cold quiet cheer.
It's sure dead around here.
Ah well. 2 points, moving on...

Karlsson was awesome
Schneider saved the day multiple times
Canucks won despite the Sens carrying stretches of the game
Kes is definitely snakebit
Volpatti almost killed whoever that was.

[mod edit] Let's keep religious comments like this out of the hockey threads, ok? If anyone wants to start a discussion on religion, do it the bar & grill.
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau
