GDT: Canucks @ Ducks Of Mighty, 7:30PST RSN

Post by CFP! »

Luongo is in.

Reports are Ebbett looks to have injured his foot and Bieksa has stitches inside his mouth.
Burrows *might* be in. Hope to see Burr play limited minutes if he is in and Hansen to see 5 on 5 action with the Twins.
#canucks Andrew Ebbet is limping around in a walking boot, so something must be broken. Alex Burrows is skating, but if he can't go, its 7-D

The key to the win tonight is a goal by Rome.

Here's hoping the "Best line in hockey" doesn't show up tonight.

Time to stop sucking on the second game of a back-to-back.

Why the fuck is Luongo in.

If we can pull this off the rest of November's schedule looks pretty favorable. Chicago and San Jose are the only elite teams we play, and we look to be well on the way to owning the Hawks and their downgraded D this season.

With Ebbett out I expect to see a lot of stumpy-legged OHL-level stickhandling that miraculously results in offensive chances.

Kesler WILL score tonight. I have seen it in the ghostly swirling waters of Lake Bonghitt.

The way they get up for the elite teams and slum with the also rans lately, makes me worry a little...I think they need to start getting pissed when a weak team has success against them. Tonight's fodder is a one line team that's not firing on all cylinders, sounds like the perfect team to resurrect Georges Vezina...

I don't mind it.

Schneider will get the start on Sunday at home, coming off a road trip.

He shouldn't have any sort of homecoming letdown because he'll be eager to play, and he may be relied on early in the game to keep them in it.

This way you also prevent Luongo from a potential bad start if they get to him early.

Luongo seems like he's close to getting on a roll, but he may need a nudge to get rolling. He's feeling good, and his adrenaline will be pumping on a back to back.

The team has had a few days of rest and there's no travel since the game is only a few miles away.

If you're ever going to start Luongo on a back-to-back, this would be it.

I think Lou wants another chance to mount KB3

I thought he was pretty good last night. I'll take 'scrambly' if he stops the puck.

I'm looking forward to Mathonwy's lord of the ring references tonight............. the twin (duck) towers et al.

Ya, Perry is agitator + talent. Maybe it's time for the Sedin snow shower show!

Luongo needs some confidence no matter which you slice it. He is in for that reason in on B2B's. Cory was used well IMO in October to assist with the slow start.

Just got home, who is in for Ebbett?

What?! Ballard had that POS Perry mounted, why didn't he ground and pound him?

Because rumor has it Perry likes the rear naked.

Lest we forget...

...How to score on the power play.

Let's fuck these Disney washouts up. My Friday has sucked enough.

Hodgson all over the place that period. Selanne can still fly.

When Garrett clearly has no idea where the puck is, probably best to say nothing.

Hockey in California is about as popular as College football is here. Or maybe synchronized swimming .

Lou shoulda had that one.

;)

Nah, he's actually been really sharp tonight. I think that's the best 25 minutes I've seen him play this season. It'll be wasted if we can't pot a couple though.
