General Manager History

Post by kitchenmagician »

Anybody have any idea where I might find a chronological list of Canucks GM's? The info here is AWESOME, but not much on the various GM's.
All the way this year!!!!

Welcome to the site, km!

I'm looking to add a new 'executive history' here in the off-season too, so keep checking back...

Fascinating to note that Brian Burke was our longest serving GM, and Dave Nonis (tied with Jake Milford) had the second longest tenure.

I reckon Mike Gillis may be around for a while, and may overtake them all. A fair bit of stability in the GM chair since the mid-nineties.

I think stability in the front office since the 90s has been the single most important factor in the Canucks being a successful franchise over the last 15 years.
