I don't mind the board ads at all because they move normally with the camera (aka they're actually on the boards).

Those new ones behind the net on the glass seem to be "computer added" and don't move in sync with the camera which constantly draws my eye to the annoying thing that's moving weird with a bit of lag.

I hate them and I hope they go away, they make me enjoy the game less.

You should just do what I do. Take some Webbers Naturals, chill out and try to ignore the advertising.

Yeah I'm not too worried either, once I enroll in BCIT I probably won't have much time to watch hockey much anyways.

I noticed that too Aaron, I actually liked the uniform colour. I don't mind the TV ads on the glass, I got over it after the 1st period of the 1st game they brought them out. What really aggravates me is how the whole screen changes colour on the ice when the reflection from the ring ads change during play. When the ads are blue or white, they really illuminate the ice effectively, but once they switch to a green or orange it drastically effects the experience - at least, on my TV it does.

Its not something I can ignore, as its most prominent at the beginning of periods while the ice is still wet. The league should outlaw ad changes during play anyway. Flash ads all you want in between plays, but keep them solid while the puck is in play.

That's my rant for today.

When I was BCIT, hockey was one of the few things I could find time for. It was a great break when I got home and took an hour or so off before studying and making another pot of coffee.

BCIT was the hardest 2 years of my life, but also one of the most rewarding - and made some good friends along the way (misery loves company?). Good luck.

That one bugs me too. I wonder if it messes the player up at all when it all of a sudden goes from white to a blazing red.
