They are last in the east and 29th overall.

Philadelphia sent some top centres away so they could spend a large cap amount on goalies.

They lost 9-8 tonight.

Does that make anyone feel any better?

Boston won a cup on our ice. I doubt hockey "fans" in Boston are even aware the season has started.

If we'd won the cup last year we could go 0-82-0 and I wouldn't give two fucks.

Philly fans are more worried about cheering on their dog rapist of a quarterback.

So no.

I really need to vent because I don't know if I'm going to be able to hold my tongue when I see her. Thank you for your time.

The Canucks are playing like shit right now.

And it's only 8 years till the kid finds this site as I assume it's the general life story of most on here?

He can barely read? Hell, he's probably on CDC right NOW.

That said, I'm not really worried about the Canucks. We're too good a team to suck up the joint much longer.

After the heartbreak of last June it's tough to get that bent out of shape over the tragedy of losing a few hockey games in October.

I'm comfortably numb.

On Saturday, Jan 7 at approximately 10:34 am Brad Marchand will be helped off the ice. I'll feel better then.

Not really. :(

I am struggling in every hockey pool I am in.
Its about to snow here.
I have a shitty internet connection and it is beyond my control.
The Riders suck. (thx EPC for the reminder)

In all seriousness folks, life is good. I am healthy (minus a cold), my family is healthy and we ain't broke or struggling to get by so really I can't complain. I just wish those darn Nucks' would get their shit together.

Also, I don't feel so bad about losing to the Oil anymore. They beat the Caps lastnight. Khabby can't keep this up all year and he is the only reason those punks have even been in the last two games.
In Okinawa, all Miyagi know two things: hockey and karate.

When I finally get done at that shit hole I am going to be working out in the oil patch and it will be MINUS FUCK OFF outside. :(
My hockey team is playing like an AHL team.
The Oilers who are pretty much an AHL team are winning.

On that note, last night was the first time I saw the huge hit PK Subban threw on Marchand last year:

Watch it 10 or 12 times.

referring to Marchand as a roadrunner in Montreal - yikes
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

I don't like Subban but I like that hit! That would knock the "e" off anyone's tattoo.

Let's see...what do I have to vent about?

Life's pretty good, but I have a brain tumor the size of a golf ball, no medical insurance and my hockey team is going through a small slump.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Slumps can be brutal.

Yes, I'm serious, and this will likely cause me to move back to Canada early next year.

Down here, the "pre-existing condition" clause will make any health insurance prohibitively expensive.

On the bright side, other than some headaches, no serious symptom yet.

And I blame hockey - I cracked my head after game 6 :drink: and got a really bad concussion - then they did a scan and found it. So I blame the Canucks.
