Tonight we find out if this team can put together a win against one of the league's bottom feeders.

It's a meaningless game IMO, if Luongo plays a stinker I can laugh at him and mock Vigneault for being unable to pull his starter.

If we beat them in a close game it reflects poorly on us because the Oiler's are expected to be finishing near the bottom of the league again while we are expected to challenge for a place in the top 3.

If we blow them out the it will be entertaining because I just can't stand the Oiler's and I want that team to fail in perpetuity and when we blow a team out we do it in highlight reel fashion.

I'm putting my money on a close game with everyone on the edge of their seat in fear every time the Oiler's setup in the offensive zone and get a puck towards Luongo.

The Canucks need a win tonight, if only to quell the idiots here in Vancouver that are crying about their lack of success thus far. Luongo needs a big game for the same reason and then some. Cory Schneider is breathing down his neck. And despite the Canucks saying Lou is the man, they can't ignore the fact that CS has been the better goalie through 2 (lol) games apiece.

Could get ugly with the thugs the Oilers will try and dress. Our PP has to punish them early, because I'm pretty sure we are the weakest team in the league when it comes to physicality and if we start slow in that area they will push the envelope.
