I can't stand the disecting of Roberto Luongo in this city.
Roberto Luongo is a nice guy and great in the community.
However he stunk the joint out on opening night.
He's a fantastic NHL goalie, but is mentally fragile.
He needs people to constantly pump his tires or he falls apart.
He needs a good psychiatrist.
Are you offering your services, Doc?
I'm confident I could help him become a major asshole and learn to
focus.
Screw the community, we need a Cup.
I'd prescribe some acid first, perhaps the game would slow down for him??

While we're at it, maybe CBC could exchange Kevin Weekes for a bag of shit.
It killed me how he kept raving about the 4th line
... about how awesome they played last night
... and how the 4th line Canucks iced against Boston was perhaps the difference.
Well Lappy was truly awesome last night, unfortunately he had 2 bags of shit for wingers though!
Speaking of Lappy & Weekes, someone should tell Weekes there's not really an "angle of the shot"
.... when the shot is taken from behind the goal line.
Someone should tell both Weekes and Lee that the G is silent in Hodgson.
Someone should tell Lee to just say "Lappy" because it's short for both Lapierre AND Lapointe.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

For the first game of the year, it was pretty good considering they were missing Kesler but then Pittsburg was missing someone else too. I thought that as the game went on all 4 lines had some chances, give them 10 games and I think we will be happy with the results.
Still can't believe we have to watch 81 more games before the real season starts again. I don't know about everyone else but I still have some playoff blues knowing how close they came. I cannot imagine how the players feel.
There is a back to back game next week so Luongo will probably sit out the 2nd game, I hope they manage Salo's time as well.

Of course there's an angle, it just happens to be negative.
But maybe you just felt an acute need to be obtuse by reflex?
In all fairness, I guess there's really no right or oblique here....
