Swedish joke

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Ummm, trying to prod an active and usually loud-mouthed poster into defending his (indefensible) intellectual position...

Versus double-teaming a polite Swede, somewhat defenseless by virtue of the fact that, duh, he's not gonna join the forum for another two weeks?

Well, not really surprising, from a man who prefers his worldview to be irrefutable.

Whoosh indeed.

No, it's actually like this.

I may have to revise my cast list. Sorry Matt, you're out, we've hired Tony Robinson instead.

So how would you diagnose your tracking of posters who are not actually there (yet), Doc? Were you fascinated just by the abstract Platonic idea of said poster?

I'll give you another term: grandiose delusions.
GDs are characterized by fantastical beliefs that one is famous, omnipotent, wealthy, or otherwise very powerful. The delusions are generally fantastic and typically have a supernatural, science-fictional, or religious theme. There is a relative lack of research into GD, in comparison to persecutory delusions and auditory hallucinations. About 10% of healthy people experience grandiose thoughts but do not meet full criteria for a diagnosis of GD.

OK ok.... everyone just take a breather.

This somewhat silly game of "dictionary one-up-manship" can end anytime.

This thread is about a Swedish joke, not who can find the silliest definition to use against another poster.

Put the dictionaries away and step away from the keyboards.
