I love it up there. We know about a dozen families with places in that area. I like the fact that its one of the few lakes in the Cariboo that isn't loaded with leetches and people can actually go for a swim. I was out in the lawn chairs with buddy in about a foot or two of water last week for a couple of hours and we didn't encounter any leetches whatsoever. Perhaps it was the 40 oz bottle of rum we drank and we didn't feel them .
I love the Okanagan, but I have had enough of Osoyoos due to the grossness of the lake as it's filled with millfoil, dirty boat gas and urine. I used to go to that lake as a kid and it was beautiful but now it's overcrowded and a bit of a hole. Kelowna is just a hot Vancouver at this point, though i do love to visit. Peachland is beautiful but i can't afford a half million for rec property if i want it paid off in the next 20 years. It's getting way too crowded in the Okanagan and that's why we chose to go to the Cariboo. It's nice to go for a burn in the boat and not have to keep your head up every 30 feet for jetskiers and assheads who don't know how the fuck to share the lake.
