FUCK YEAH!!! KESLER!!

Can someone please sit Cherry down and compare the replays of Thornton and Hodgson taking high sticks to their face? I can't believe Cherry gave Thornton a free pass on that embellishment because he didn't get a call in game 2.

I'm happy we're winning. But this is an embarrassment to the sport.

How can you say that? 1 penalty was for too many men on the ice and another was for shooting the puck over the glass. Clearly San Jose lost composure in order to get those calls. Heatley hits Hodgson in the face with a stick (with NO embellishment mind you). Those 3 calls have to be made. I didn't see the hooking call on Mitchell, so I can't comment on that.

The 2nd period was fuckin' great if you're a Canucks fan - but a comedy of errors if you're a fan of the sport.

The refs start making their mandatory make-up calls and then get stuck having to call the "too many men" and the "dreaded puck over the glass" penalties and give us some 5 on 3's.

And very quickly, Bettman's plans have gone awry.

Bottom line is that the Canucks are playing with a confidence that the Sharks could only wish they have. We weathered the storm and took advantage of the chances handed to us. I'm really liking what I'm seeing from this team.

Ballard's hip check was great!

Henrik's patience on the power plays was perfect - would be able to do that at home with all of the fans yelling "SHOOT!!!"?

Good game, we just need to play our game in the 3rd and we'll be fine.

How can you say that? Heatley hit CoHo in the face with a stick. That call HAS to be made. I won't comment on the Mitchell hook because I didn't see it. And like you said the other 2 penalties had to be called. They're automatic calls.
