We played well, and I have no complaints about anything. The shot on Bieksa looked an awful lot like the Torres shot which was a penalty (rightly or wrongly).

So we go to game 7 and if we play like we did tonight we should win.

From Schneider: "Just cramped up real bad. I could feel it coming after the second...It was real frustrating...Its something that used to happen to me in the AHL. A lot of nervous energy, probably sweating a little more than normal, got a little dehydrated."

What do you mean, "blocked"? Luongo made the original save, while down they got the rebound.

OK .. nobody else said it so here it is:
Bolland line outplayed and outscored the Sedin line
That is the soft spot in this playoffs.. Not Torres , Not Luongo, Not Kesler
but the lousy defensive play of the twins and their inability
to outscore a checking line.. tonight they got 1 goal and were still a -2
on the score sheet.. meaning they were on the ice for 3 Chicago goals..
Great regular season performers but have sucked in the playoffs.

Great game tonight though :) a far better effort by the Canucks and
overall we outplayed the Hawks ( other than the Sedin line )

I was referring to the save...wrong word.

Pretty much how the series has gone. The coverage by the Sedin line in their own zone has been at best atrocious. If as a first line you're going to float in your own zone (see overtime goal) then you better outscore the opposition to make up for your mistakes.

To be fair to the Sedins, the stats are actually very misleading from last night. The first two goals Chicago scored had nothing to do with the Sedins. Both were results of miscommunication between Schneider and the defenceman and Chicago capitalized.

I think you can definitely fault the Sedins for the winning goal unfortunately, but as a whole I didn't think this was your typical poor showing as in game 4 and 5. Actually, as I felt for the Canucks as a whole, they dominated possession and carried the play. Just tough to lose as a result of a couple breakdowns and some suspect officiating (should win in spite of the refs but didn't make it much easier)

Really should have finished them off last night. As for game 7, who knows. Will need the same effort.

Agreed, the Sedins did pretty good, a rookie goalie made some playoff fatal mistakes in a game we took it to them mostly...if we play like that again we will be OK for game 7 at home.
I love every move Jim Benning makes 8-)

I think there's a bit of irony in that Brent Seabrook's brother Keith scored the winning goal in forcing a game 7 for the Moose.

Sedins played fine and I don't think you can blame them on two of the goals. I also thought Kesler's line (with Burrows) was very very good. Lots of chances and carried the play.

Schneider played very well stopping the puck. Playing the puck, not so much. Luongo didn't look comfortable in relief, but he certainly gave us a chance to win the game. (Burrows had a wide open net and somehow missed...).

hmmm if you think its fine to not backcheck.. and not be part of the defensive effort in your own zone ( other than hanging out at your own blue line waiting to turn up ice ) .. not block shots.. then I guess you think they did " fine"..

3 goals against.. 1 for will not win hockey games..
