So excited about tonight. I just can't wait to feel the electricity in the arena!

Our Father, who art in Hockey Heaven...Pavel be thy name!

The time has come,
it shall be done,
In the game as it was in practice.
Give us this day our daily ritual
and keep us safe from injury
As we forgive those who have no faith in us
Lead us not into damnation
But deliver us to Stanley.

A mother effin' MEN!
Didn't you know?I'm Front Page news! ;)

I want to see the boys with a business approach tonight. Minimize the emotions and focus on playing between whistles.

I'm with you. Might be dull for some fans, but I'm convinced completely that is how you have a long playoff run in today's game.

Cheers!

EDIT: Matty Ohlund hasn't had a goal in two years! Where was I? Love the guy, but man am I glad we didn't sign that deal.

Hansen on the breakaway? GOAL!

Incredible toe save from Luongo with a couple of minutes left.

So far - all Canucks. :D

Hawks picked up the pace in the 2nd but the Canucks kept their composure. Whenever we did give them a chance, Luongo and his posts stood up strong.
Canucks have the confidence so far.

Our advantages in Game 1:

Depth
Speed
Hitting
Goal Posts

*not necessarily in that order

:towel: grinning from ear to ear right now! what a great effort from the boys, not a bad performence. Higgins, Hansen, Bieksa, and Hodgson all stood out by steping up their usual games.

oh and one more thing......

Along with the goalposts don't forget Luongo's 3 or 4 great saves to keep the Hawks at 0.

Higgins, Hansen, Bieksa, and Hodgson all stood out by steping up their usual games.

Lapierre, Oreskovich, Raymond and ALL of the "D" played an exceptional game too.

Yes sir. Not a weak player on the team tonight.

Will Fred predict Hodgson as the Conn Smythe winner after his game tonight? :D

2 - zip :) thanks Lou and 2nd 3rd n 4th lines plus the D :)
Sorry I just have to point out the Sedin line was completely stifled by Chicago.. and Dan and Hank both took slashing penalties ( frustration ? ) ..Hopefully they will have stronger games as the series continues..
