Not a great effort tonight. Badly outshot. Not at all physical. Too many penalties.
Another D-man bites the dust. Alberts broken wrist. Sauve called up from the Moose.
Luongo played well aside from his valentines gift to Steen.
I wasn't impressed with the officiating tonight. Plenty of missed calls.
Gonna be tough tomorrow in Minny.

Agree woodhog.. one of the poorest games for the Nucks recently.. Badly outplayed in both ends of the ice. Ref's didn't give the Canucks any breaks either.. Some questionable no calls ... But Blues deserved the win.. I,m afraid its going to be tough now for the rest of the season.. a patchwork of Moose Callup Dmen the rest of the way.. Problem is that Erhoff , Bieksa and Salo will be called upon to play more minutes than they are used to, meaning they will be playing tired a lot of the time. Tiredness leads to mistakes and injury.. Tanev is playing well for a rookie but of course makes a few rookie mistakes. Rome is a #7 dman forced now to play more minutes... Hope Sauve can at least take some of the pressure off the top 3..
