With Getzlaf back in the lineup this is a tougher Anaheim team . At this point they have more to win than the Canucks. Headlines today say Beauchemin coming back to Anaheim. They are fighting to hold a playoff spot. Canucks a little weaker on D with Ballard down and Salo not back yet. But other than pride have not much to gain by a win or loss. Cory Schneider slated to play goal.. Always a close, tough game against the Ducks so am looking forward to tonight . ( looks like Hodgson has a permanent spot on roster with Bolduc going down to the Moose )..
Ducks 4 Canucks 3 in OT...

Ok - I have to admit that I'm losing track of who we have coming in and out the lineup these days! Ballard's out - Salo's still out - Edler's out - Tanev, Rome and Alberts are half of our defense now, right?
Canucks Injury Report
If we continue through this mess of injuries, Gillis is a genius for keeping a stockpile of 3 dozen NHL calibre D-men in the system.
From here on in, the other teams have to start thinking about the playoffs - Anaheim is in the middle of it all. 9 points separate 3rd and 14th in the West.
Next 3 games:

No Hiller for Anaheim, which bodes well for us.
Hopefully we get a big game from Schneider, the Sedins, Kesler and Samuelsson stays hot. Is that too much to ask for?

I think the big thing to ask for is no more injuries, especially to the D.Island Nucklehead wrote:No Hiller for Anaheim, which bodes well for us.

Let's just hope it's nothing serious. Looked like maybe a possible concussion? I hope not. We're going to run out of capable replacements soon. Good thing Salo seems to be ready.Tiger wrote:Ouch... you cursed them woodie..
