Toronto has a drug problem

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Toronto has a drug problem

Post by BurningBeard »

Do I need to worry about getting sued for stating that TO mayor Rob Ford is *apparently* a crack head (according to reports)?

http://gawker.com/for-sale-a-video-of-t ... -507736569

The important quote from this article:
Rob Ford purchases his crack cocaine from a crew of Toronto drug dealers that service a veritable who's who of A-list...Torontonians? Torontites? Anyway, a lot of prominent people in Toronto purchase and enjoy crack and powder cocaine, and they all buy it from the same folks. The same folks Ford buys it from. Ford's longtime friend, people on his staff, his brother, a prominent hockey analyst, and more.
a prominent hockey analyst

hmm... so many possibilities, I'll let you draw your own conclusions, I've already said too much!

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

Lets look at this for what it is.

Somali drug dealers trying to extort $100K or more being aided and abetted by tabloid media.

Living in Toronto must be one of the best excuses for doing drugs ever.

If we weren't talking about Crack here I might buy the story,,,, Lots of high functioning addicts but cumon, can you really do crack and still run a city?

Never heard of a high functioning crack head.

If you have met the Fords you would not have a problem with the crack story. It's bizarre but actually plausible given their behaviour and comments...that's what you get when you let the hicks from the 'burbs run a town...
