Another one bites the dust

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Character actor Mike Hagerty toasted at 67.

67 sucks bro....way to early to go in the current world.

Hagerty carried noteworthy bit roles on A grade comedy series such as Cheers, Seinfeld and Curb as well as some off the cuff, improvisational stage comedy with the likes of Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie.

He is notable and referenced at death at this here GDHTMB due to his one time, bit part in Grey's Anatomy of course.....

Hey Megs...Bobby Rydell died last month if you hadn't heard.

Also I think we made note of George's Mom hitting it in April but apparently Jerry's went down last month as well.

93.

That's a good run.

Yeah I think getting into the 90s is a quality outing.

Obviously depends on the health along the way but one would assume if you live that long you must be fairly spry until you’re close to the end!

Never saw Grey's myself. Came well after my tv watching period.

But RIP all the same.

Is Dan Haggerty still with us I wonder? I was a pretty big Grizzly Adams fan back in the day...

Yeah...I just threw Greys in there as it's a long running site gag in GDT's.

The Griz, much like ours, died a few years back as I recall.

There was also the popular All Star Wrestling heel Hard Boiled Haggerty. 'Hard Boiled' worked the local circuit back in the sixties if anyone remembers. I was a faithful viewer of Ron Morrier, Fred Asher and the gang way back in the young Megaterio's halcyon days.

One thing I have searched for far and wide on youtube and other video hosting sites is a recording of the classic All Star Wrestling theme song. I believe the great Morrier once mentioned it was called The Kingpin March but darned if it shows up on a google search. Can anyone here help a brotha out?

Gene Kiniski vs Bulldog Brown was always a match that delivered fireworks.

Two of the best on the mic too.

Gene ran a bar in Point Roberts, a right of passage was to buy a beer from Canada's Greatest Athlete on your 21st birthday.

and catch a movie at the porno theatre down the road
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.
