Another one bites the dust

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

That's true, but we're concerned about the age gap. And I'm real good in scrums.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Up and coming Brit-band Viola Beach had just finished their first gig ouside of Britain at Where's The Music? in Norrköping Sweden and were heading North to Stockholm where they had a reservation at an airport hotel. They were supposed to play at a sold out gig in Guildford the next day.

Anyway, in Södertälje, just South of Stockholm, they passed a line of vehicles waiting in line at a bridge opening at high speed, clipping the side mirror of a taxi, running a red light, ramming a road barrier and continuing over the edge where the bridge was supposed to be... then a 25 metre drop Before crashing into the Södertälje Canal.
The police retrieved a badly mangled car wreck from the water and the bodies of five young men, later identified as Viola Beach and their manager. :(
