...and for my old pal, Blob, Verlander at 75% beats the Yanks to put them on the precipice of elimination.

Red Sox fan from Vegas on the radio this morning:

".....flight to Detroit $400.00, tickets to the game $500.00, room and board, $300.00, broom from hardware store $12.99, watching the Yanks get swept...priceless.."

...and to make it even better for Blob Dusty Baker got re-upped for 2 years in Cincinnati.

0-2 pal!

I probably would too. That said i tie a can to Grandy and Swisher. I pay 1/2 of A -Roid's ticket ..... maybe more to kick him and his purple lips out of the Bronx. Go all in on David Wright, Delmon Young and Josh Hamilton. Land 2/3 and it's a great winter. Bring back Ichy and Ibanez on one year deals. Pineda and Rivera will be back next year.

....aaaannnddd the Yankees lose.

Thaaaaaaa Yankees lose.

Suck on that John Sterling.

lofl btw...

Was this Yankees team done in, simply, by a lack of hitting? [One] player privately made a far more indicting observation: that the ballclub was affected by the hostility from the fans at Yankee Stadium last weekend. "I really think the booing spooked a lot of guys," the player said. "A lot of guys hadn't been booed before, and they couldn't believe how nasty it got in the stands." Obviously Nick Swisher admitted to being sensitive to such treatment after Game 2, but the player said Swisher was far from alone in his reaction. "A lot of guys were talking about it in the clubhouse," he said. "I was surprised by how much it bothered them. I really don't think they ever recovered." If that's true, well, so much for the big, bad Yankees.

Pussies.

Good to see the old dog still knows where he buried his toys.
Fuck you, I'm in the midst of packing, we're moving to new digs at the end of the month.
Trick or treat, imagine the looks on faces in the hood when Topper with beard+hair down to there, with gleam in eye, starts carting in his weapons and God knows what in the pouring rain on Halloween!

Is it fair to assume you have a perpetual gleam in your eye Toppy? :drink:
