Anything goes in the Bar and Grill, Jovo, as long as it follows the general rules. Per's posts are informative and interesting; whether they are about political topics is not relevant. What about that seemingly endless tirade about Gregor Robertson? I don't live in Vancouver, so that thread was not any more useful to me than a post about elections in Finland. In fact, less so, as in the long term, elections worldwide can have an effect on all of us.

I got to agree with this. Even if his posts stray a bit I enjoy the different world view he brings. Living in America it is refreshing to read posts that recognize other parts of the planet. I look for his posts. I cerainly do not know why you would cancel his posts or threads and allow drunken rants with built in threats. Something to think about.ukcanuck wrote:wow Jovorock that seems really flippant. I remember the posts in question and I responded to the one about China. The irony here is that your deleting posts because its not related to hockey as far as you can tell and that your not interested in brings us all closer to the censorship we have sent our own blood to fight against around the world.Jovorock wrote:And I probly removed all three, this is a hockey board. Per has been an honourable and relevant poster here and his posts have always been worth the read. This board is better for his input

Is it not an off topic forum ? It's not like he is posting crap or anything malicious. Per is pretty well spoken and very intelligent. I for one enjoy his contributions to the board.Jovorock wrote:And I probly removed all three, this is a hockey board. “I don’t care what you and some other poster were talking about”
Re: International Politics & Stuff
I agree pers threads keep me worldly, and it was.exactly off topic and should not be deleted. That's a little bit pushy and forcing of opinion. Sorry JR, don't agree with you.

Who died and made you Queen? As it is stated several times...anything off topic...it is not offensive in anyway...no swearing (like in the HF) or PG (Like in the Wolf Parade...let them talk of all things non-hockey Rockhead...please....Jovorock wrote:And I probly removed all three, this is a hockey board. Kind of ironic that an issue of censorship and abuse of power should come up in a thread about Russia and China.ukcanuck wrote:wow Jovorock that seems really flippant. Actually, I think they intend to stay within the EU. It's just London they want to be rid of.ukcanuck wrote:doesnt it sound all so bloody familiar? with whole nations going under the weight of debt and spending what should Scotland do? they cant pay for it themselves but they want their cake and eat it too...

And I think they intend to pay for it all with North Sea oil.
