NFL Thread: Thoughts on the game south of the 49th

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

None of youse bull honks ride with lever on this subject...Yada Yada Yada...

Tom Brady has earned, in NFL salary, somewhere in the neighborhood of 330 million dollars over the duration of his career.

No extra curricular income involved....just pure contract earnings.

This past week he signed a "futures" deal with FOX TV to be their #1 game day analyst once he retires.

10 years.

375 million.

One day shits gonna start working out better for Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr.

Nebraska is playing their first game of the year in Ireland today - then this happened:
As thrilling as the Nebraska-Northwestern football game might have been, the rarest of occurrences kept hundreds — perhaps even thousands — of fans in the concession concourses.

Free beer. Free food, too. All of it, free. A stadium, just giving it away.

“The tills are down and we can’t take cash,” an Aviva Stadium concession worker said to the World-Herald. The tills, in this case, were small credit card machines that didn’t have Wi-Fi connection.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

The entire world hating the NFL refs for that Munich, Germany game, as the ref's favourited the Buccanneer's over Seahawks.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Only word from the hospital for hours was that he "is in critical condition".

And now his agent just tweeted:

"His vitals are back to normal and they have put him to sleep to put a breathing tube down his throat. They are currently running tests."

He's not out of the woods by a long shot...
