BC Lions 2011

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Doesn't take a genius to catch the slight there Topper and its true there's no American football, but there's a great CANADIAN football game on tonight
And what a fucking game.

Doesn't get anymore dramatic and nail biting than that.

That's first place and the rubber too, destiny is ours now...

The ball landed in the guys hand only a few yards behind, if he was another yard further back he would of missed.

When the commentators were saying 54 yards is his max they were not lying.

What a win, I need to say it again, what a win.

Can you imagine their record if they started the season this way?

I was there last night to see McCallum make history, lose his streak and then boot a 53 yarder to win the game.

I don't care what league you're in but a 53 yard field goal is no easy task and it was being done by a 41 year old man.

The 30,622 that showed up at BC Place last night, got their money's worth.

what a great night to be a vancouver fan, both the lions and the Canucks making the faithful proud.

if you have been following the Lions for any length of time you will know its not easy to own the Eskimos, we don't have first place locked up yet but its looking good for at least a semi final game at our place.

Woooooh could this be the year that we have The Cup and no one has to explain which one? LOL

I know I am getting carried away, but really when has any Vancouver fan ever been able to dream that dream without being locked up?

Game last night was awesome! Very happy to have had tickets. First time I had to actually walk "up" the stairs to the exit :)

Five teams @ 10-7. Who woulda thunk? And starting the season 0-5 with a chance to host the West final with a first round bye? WTF...

Need some of those injuries to be healed up for MTL as they want to win to take the East as well. Good game next week.

Looking forward to next week's game. I was a little worried in the 3rd quarter when the Eskies were racking up some points off the D, but the Lions prevailed and held on when it mattered.

Need this win against the Als next week. Calgary looked good against them this weekend. I'm hoping the same Als show up for the Lions.

I guess they need 3 more wins, I'm sure they can use the cash from a home playoff game, I figure it shouldn't be too much to ask for a sell out in either the final or the semi if that's how it goes. At least they wont have to go head to head with the Canucks.

....it seems like another lifetime ago when the Lions was the big fish in the little fishbowl,

Holy shit!

Lions firing on all cylinders.

Lulay, Harris, O and D line! McCallum! 24-1 into the half.

Incredible, let's drown the Als and stay in Vancouver until the West final!

2 weeks to go, what a game by the orange guys.

I wish they pressed a little more with Simon through out the season to get him 66 more yards.

O well the first game next year better be at home and Milt will probably be there.

PS - I don't think playoff yards count do they???

Are you fucking kidding me?

Gawd, if the Leos make the Grey cup this city is going to be one big bandwagon.
