Ahh Summer Nights

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Just got back from the anual fishing trip to Kitimat. The Springs were good this year but what the hell I only got a 32lb pounder. The twit camping beside me(nice guy from William's Lake) fought and finally won a 45lb pounder. We cut it up and did the BBQ with rice(mushroom soup added) and beers :D Kitimat I will see you next year when the Steelhead run. :P

Not complaining Rats but there was alot of fish caught last week but just not bye me  . 2 years ago in April we spent 4 days on the river for Steelhead and I ended up with a 12 pounder on the second day and after that I had just one bite
So nice and beautiful up there it makes it so worth the trip.

Rats your getting to technical here but just for shits and giggles I use a Fenwick '10 "6 rod with an Abu Garcia 6500 reel. For the Springs we use triple hooks and buy the mesh bags cuz roe is legal there. The water is crystal clear in Kitimat. No numbers game but really just timing :eh:

Fenwicks 1264 one of my favourites. What size/make of hooks? Make of line? Different lines show up differently, ..if its crystal clear then all those things i talked about earlier mean alot. What pound test? Leader? Nice levelwind easy control..try a silex?

maxima supersoft ultra green is great line

maxima charterboat...BAD!!!

BOS,

Gonna be honest bro - I HATE your abbreviated handle name! 'BOS' reminds me too much of Boston. I feel like crying every time I see you post....and you're actually a pretty good poster. :P If it's not too much trouble, can you please change your handle to its extended version? (BladesOfSteel). Thanks man.
