Any ideas on a title for a Seinfeld thread?

It's a must have IMO....

So many things to talk about but I don't want to start a new thread for each and everyone...

I am NOT a shrink. Here's how it all started. Once upon a time I was warring with a troll in the OF. At a certain point I made up a psychological profile on this troll... and to give that some teeth I concluded with "I'm a psychiatrist btw, that's why everyone calls me Doc".

Well that post killed-off said troll and it became a running joke amongst OFers to call me a psychiatrist. Newbs would tend to believe it... and that was hella funny. Eventually though I started to notice that some of the longer-timers were seeming-to-believe I was in fact a shrink! I.. *did*.. try to put the record straight. Seriously, I must've put up a dozen posts over a one-year period along the lines ..."I'm not actually a psychiatrist".

But it continued. I wasn't sure if some of the long-timers wanted to keep the joke running... or if they actually believed it. But why? I couldn't understand how those who were there for that troll-smackdown didn't get the joke! It MUST been very obvious to them at the time.

Hey I've had at least one guy say to me that if I were a psychiatrist I'd prolly deny it!

I dunno, I came to the conclusion that folks just want to believe I'm a psychiatrist! So who am I to take that way from them? Wot's next, I de-beard department-store Santas?? Murder the Easter-Bunny/Tooth-Fairy?? (same chap btw). Nope, these people want their head doctor and they shall have him! The Great Stranglove is not one to deprive folks of their illusions...

Methinks very few could handle the fact that their 'bastion of sanity' is as nutty as the next chap.

LOL did you know I've actually given advice (in the OF) to a fellow claiming to be an SFU student.... on how to write his psychiatric thesis?? LOL now THAT'S crazy!!

PS... My old buddy Donlever asked me straight-up about two years ago, in a PM, once-and-forever “Are you actually a psychiatrist?”. I gave him a tongue-in-cheek response. I feel bad about that. Okay I don’t. But I feel really bad that I don’t feel bad about that.
