I am sure there is one old cougar out there (maybe even with teeth) that likes Loverboy.

I think I saw Loverboy and Trooper at one of the Olympic medal ceremonies but I have tried to erase it from my cranium. So I might be wrong, maybe it wasn't Loverboy. Whoever it was they were horrific and the blood was pouring out of my ears. D.O.A would have been more appropriate.

Crown and Ginger. Strangely enough I drank that in the very early '80s or more likely late '70s. Then I woke up.

A better show to see would be Eric Burdon and the Animals at the River Rock on Friday night. Unlike Loverboy, Burdon has talent, can sing and write songs. I saw him last January and the guy still can belt them out. He and the band got a standing O for an excellent version of "House of the Rising Sun." He also doesn't wear pink and yellow spandex with waist sized 62" like that other "band playing the same night at the Commodore.

Dude, you are WAY too old for them and they throw you in jail for even looking at that (luckily I closed my eyes). But if they like Loverboy I'm rapidly losing what little respect I had for generation-boomer-offspring.

So really, you need to be looking at cougars that are at least older than 40. I know there are some with teeth that like Loverboy, but fortunately for all of us they are already married. So now the hunt continues for the Loverboy-lovin' cougar who is single. My bet is that if the beast exists she is toothless (not that there is anything wrong with that) and she would make a fine wife for you.

HAVE A LOOK AT MY AVATAR, HAVE A LOOK AT THE BAND. I COME FROM A DIFFERENT ERA, STILL TRYING TO UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE LIKE THE NBA, JAY-Z, KAYNE WEST, BICYCLE LANES ON THE BURRARD STREET BRIDGE AND GREGOR ROBERTSON.
